Loss Pathway Leadership Clinical Psychologist - Band 8b

0.3 WTE - permanent role

Due to expansion of the Coventry and Warwickshire Perinatal Mental Health Loss pathway we have an exciting opportunity for a Leadership Clinical Psychologist to lead our Perinatal Mental Health Team to work within the Psychology 'Loss Pathway",

The loss pathway is embedded within the Perinatal Mental Health Team and will be made up of Clinical psychology, Assistant psychologist, Midwifery and peer support . We are therefore looking for someone who values and enjoys multi-disciplinary working and has a high level of understanding of the distinct contribution psychological approaches can make to the service user recovery and to staff and team functioning.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will be required lead and provide input to the service in the form of specialist assessments and psychological interventions, team formulation, consultation, training, service evaluation and supervision of other qualified staff.

  • Well developed skills in the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, highly technical, and clinically sensitive information to clients, their families, carers and other professional colleagues both within and outside the NHS
