Job description
Job responsibilities
As a team we work systemically to understand and support the significant impact and challenges experienced by children and adults with autism who are in mental health crisis, and their families.
In order to do this, we work with the network around the child/young person (e.g. RISE, Adult Mental Health, Social Care, Education) and work closely with commissioners. As a nurse you will have experience of multi-disciplinary and multiagency working as you will need to attend and chair regular MDTs, CETRs and EMDTs.
As a nurse you would visit individuals at home / school / in appropriate setting multiple times a week to engage them and carry out our assessments andinterventions. The nurses currently in the team describe this as the best part of their role and no day is the same.
This is an exciting time to join our Team as we mature and expand and continue to look for innovative ways to support the families we work with.If you are passionate and motivated and are driven to prevent individuals with autism and mental health from being admitted to hospital, then we want to hear from you.
