Job summary
Team Manager - Band 7 (1.0 WTE).
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered professional to work within a newly developing Older Adult Functional Mental Health Team. The post holder will support with the development of this team, and the management of staff, with some direct patient care. They will also support the development of pathways with other agencies and organisations and within our place-based teams. They will also work in collaboration with our Dementia service and Managers to work towards providing an excellent service for all older adults.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support the delivery of person centred and trauma informed care across the County. Working closely with colleagues from other services including Primary Care, social care, physical health, voluntary sector partners and the wider secondary mental health services. The Older Adult Mental Health team will consist of a mix of colleagues including Community Psychiatric Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Psychiatrists, Psychology, Mental health and wellbeing practitioners and Lead Nurse. The post holder will supervise staff across the County from all disciplines and will support the Dementia Management Team.
The Post holder must be able to travel across the County as staff will be based in North Warwickshire, South Warwickshire and Coventry.

The post holder will be employed by the mental health directorate of CWPT. There will be support, supervision and opportunities to integrate into the wider mental health service. .
