Job summary
Children's Well-Being Practitioner Training Post - Band 4
12 month fixed term contract
37.5 hours per week
This is an exciting opportunity to undertake a training role within the Children and Young People' Improving Access to Psychological Therapies programme (CYP IAPT). The CYP IAPT initiative is a service transformation programme delivered by Health Education England and partners that aims to improve existing children and young people's mental health services working in the community.
The post holder will attend university based taught and self-study days as required by the education provider, as specified within the agreed national curriculum. They will work in the Specialist Mental Health Services for the remaining days of the working week using their newly developed skills. The post-holder will work within the multi-disciplinary team delivering, under supervision, high-quality; brief outcome focused evidence-based interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
