Ward Manager - Band 7

Full time, permanent post

We are looking to recruit a substantive band 7 RMN with a preferable back ground in Eating Disorders.

This post is based at the Aspen Unit in Warwick

Main duties of the job

Please refer to the attached JD / PS in Supporting Information

The post holder be required to have a back ground in working with the complexities and challenges of an eating disorder service and preferably have Nasogastric Feeding competencies

Qualifications

Essential

  • Registered Nurse (RNMH - Mental Health)
  • Management Qualification (Diploma level or above) or equivalent level of experience

Experience

  • Extensive post registration clinical experience in a relevant area or similar
  • Experience of staff management, supervising staff and carrying out appraisal
  • Experience of staffing resource management in line with Standing Financial Instructions.

Knowledge and skills

Essential

  • Experience of staffing resource management in line with Standing Financial Instructions.
  • Able to supervise and support staff working with the above Service Users

Other

  • Must be able and willing to travel as necessary for the effective performance of the post.
