Job summary

Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust is further developing its Family Therapy Services (RISE).

We are building the team and are delighted to be recruiting a Band 6 1.0 WTE Family and Systemic Psychotherapy Trainee. Once you join we will have a team of approximately 6.0 WTE Family Systemic Psychotherapists including one trainee and additional practitioners covering Systemic Family Therapy, Eating Disorder Services, NVR, family work services.

You will be funded to complete the 4 years of training to gain a MSc and qualify as a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist. Following completion of the course will have a 6 month period to complete competencies to achieve a Band 8a.

This whole initiative has arisen from the Trust's commitment to systemic strategic management of service delivery. The successful candidate will be contributing to innovative developments within RISE.

The post holder will cover Coventry and Warwickshire, mix of online and face to face working.

Systemic clinical supervision will be available.

Applicants will need to hold professional registration and required to remain in the job role following completion of the 4 years of training, for at least 2 years (or training costs will need to be re-paid).

Main duties of the job

To undertake training in order to qualify as a family and systemic psychotherapist.

To work within a multidisciplinary team offering full comprehensive assessments and intervention in a range of settings and evaluate the mental health care to children, young people and their families in line with local and national guidelines.
