Coventry and Warwickshire Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health (CAMHS)

Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust is further developing its Family Therapy Services.

We are building the team and are delighted to be recruiting a Band 8b 0.6 WTE to clinically lead the existing Family Therapy Team. Once you join we will have a team of approximately 6.0 WTE Family Systemic Psychotherapists including one trainee and additional practitioners covering Systemic Family Therapy, Eating Disorder Services, NVR and family work services. We are also proposing another Family Therapy trainee post to join the team.

This whole initiative has arisen from the Trust's commitment to systemic strategic management of service delivery. The successful candidate will be contributing to innovative developments within CAMHS and across stakeholder agencies.

Although the post holder will cover Coventry and Warwickshire, there will be a mix of online and face to face working.

Systemic clinical supervision will be available so that UKCP registration can be maintained.

Main duties of the job

To take a lead role for providing an effective and high quality specialist systemic (family) psychotherapy service within Specialist CAMHS in the Coventry and Warwickshire area.

To provide specialist Child Family therapy assessment, formulation, to children, young people, parents and carers

To plan, and oversee the implementation and monitoring of outcomes.

To ensure an effective high quality, timely, accessible systemic (family) psychotherapy service to service users who have been assessed and identified as needing treatment.

To work closely with the Service Lead for Psychotherapy alongside the leadership team and managers within the specialist CAMHS service. To ensure the provision is developing to meet the clinical need ensuring effective pathway working and responsiveness to the changing needs of the service.

To be responsible for providing clinical supervision, consultation, advice and support to staff from other disciplines (including psychiatrists, psychologists and other professionals).

To be involved in the recruitment and development of qualified and non-qualified systemic psychotherapists and practitioners.
