Medical Secretary - Band 4 for Children & Young People Mental Health (Rise) Eating Disorders Service
Full Time (37.5 hours per week) Mon - Fri 09:00-17:00
Within this service an exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Medical Secretary to be part of our Children & Young People Mental Health Eating Disorders team for Coventry and Warwickshire.
The post holder will play an important role providing efficient, comprehensive and complex medical secretary service to the Consultants and their teams, acting as a first point of contact for patients, staff and stakeholders, exercising judgement and resolving problems.
Previous Medical Secretarial experience is required and knowledge of supervising an admin team is desirable.You must demonstrate a mature attitude and be able to show initiative with the ability to build effective working relationships, be approachable and accessible, exercising judgement and resolving problems with a flexible work ethic. We are looking for confident individuals, who have a positive approach to change and supportive of service improvements.

Main duties of the job
You will work within an integrated and skill mixed admin team based in Coventry, providing complex secretarial and admin support with responsibility for coordinating and managing the work required by the clinical services. You will be expected to show initiative and have the ability to delegate tasks appropriately and supervise staff in order to effectively and efficiently support clinical service delivery.
