An
opportunity has arisen for health care support worker to work in our busy
Outpatient Department part time 21 hours per week in ENT outpatients. The ideal
person will be an enthusiastic hard working person. The successful candidate
must have excellent communication skills and a positive approach to patient
centered care.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work as part of
the general outpatient team in the ENT outpatient department.
To assist the qualified
nursing staff, under their supervision, in providing a high quality,
comprehensive and compassionate nursing service to all patients and users,
ensuring a high standard of patient care is maintained in a clean and safe
environment which promotes dignity, privacy and respect.
Under appropriate supervision (direct or indirect), the post-holder
will assist in the delivery of care planned and assessed by the Registered
Nurse, including providing clinical care and performing a range of diagnostic
tests and other extended skills.
