Due
to retirement of our current post holder we have a rare and exciting
opportunity to advertise a Band 7 Tissue Viability Lead Nurse role predominatly
working within the Community Tissue Viability Team.
The successful candidate will
provide highly developed wound care advice and assessment, leadership, developing
educational programmes, developing practice, and undertaking audit and
research, primarily supporting Patient Safety and Pressure Ulcer prevention.
An understanding of the pressure ulcer
prevention agenda and National Wound Care Strategy together with a passion for
wound care and experience in developing and delivering educational packages
would be advantageous. Experience as a
Tissue Viability Nurse and Team Leader and recognised qualification in
wound care would be beneficial along with leadership skill and knowledge
The
post holder will be required to cover the service across CDDFT region therefore
independent travel is essential.
