Job summary
You will be responsible for contacting patients
to arrange an appointment via letter or telephone, ensuring that all
appointments are booked in accordance within Trust timescales and manage
administrative tasks associated with appointments booked via the eRS
system. You will also be responsible for
booking review appointments via Worklists and as requested via proforma.
Main duties of the job
To
re-allocate appointments from the Deferred Appointments Worklist.
To contact patients by
telephone for short notice appointment cancellations.
To ensure that all
appointments which require cancelling or amending are reallocated for patients
To rebook patients from
cancelled clinics and inform patient either by telephone or letter, as
appropriate.
To book review appointments
requested via Proforma or EPR Worklists.
Ensure all Trust and
departmental policies and procedures are adhered to to ensure standards are
maintained in the department and all tasks carried out correctly and within the
correct timescales.
Ensure
all demographic information is collected and updated.
