Job summary

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to Join our Crook Community Nursing Team. The successful applicant will work across the Weardale locality from an office base in Crook. The team cover 8am until 9pm 7 days a week on a duty roster. The role involves providing holistic nursing care to adult patients in their own home or residential care setting. Sucessful applicants will be required to hold a first level nursing registration with the NMC, additional training specific to the role can be provided.

Main duties of the job

The Community nursing team provide both planned and reactive care including Urgent Community Response.

We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.
