This

The
Assurance and Compliance Manager is one of two posts in place to provide expert
oversight of - and support for -
assurance, risk management and compliance processes in our care groups and
corporate directorates, including adherence to CQC Fundamental Standards of
Care.
The post-holder will
monitor CQC reports and publications and advise Associate, Clinical and
Executive Directors on the implications for CDDFT, they will play a lead role
in managing any CQC inspection and in collating supporting evidence.
On an ongoing basis, the
Assurance and Compliance Manager will develop and roll out processes to seek
assurance of compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards of care at care group,
service and ward / team level; provide expert guidance and training in
compliance and risk matters including quality assuring risk registers and
challenging care groups and corporate directorates to improve them as
necessary.
The
post-holder will also contract manager suppliers - for example of monitoring
software or internal audit services - and embed and improve systems to monitor
compliance with the Trust's CQC Registration.
