Officer. In this position, you will take a proactive and lead role in developing and promoting a diverse range of
fundraising activities and projects to support the Charitys fundraising
strategy and income generation.
Main duties of the job
Represent the Charity at events,
meetings and be a point of contact for key stakeholders and CDDFT workforce
Take a proactive supportive role in developing, setting
and achieving fundraising targets
Lead on developing and planning fundraising events including
project planning, financial expectations
Represent the Charity at external events and meetings
within the local communities and businesses
Work with the Trusts communications team to support the
Charitys online and digital presence including but not restricted to the
website, Facebook and Twitter
Support the Charity Manager in researching, identifying
and managing small-mid donations from trusts, foundations, corporate and
private donors.
Proactively work to attract, build and develop relationships
with new and existing community and corporate donors to secure long term and
increased funding across a wide range of target markets.
Help manage a mixed portfolio of funders to best practice
standards, ensuring reporting deadlines are met, terms and conditions for
grants are satisfied, grant income is collected efficiently when due and donor
retention remains an on-going priority.

- Good Standard of Education minimum of 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English Language.
- Educated to at least NVQ level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent knowledge/experience (or working towards).
- Plus relevant practical experience to diploma level.
