Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to
support a key project for our Pathology services. County Durham and Darlington
Pathology service is part of a regional procurement and installation of a new
Laboratory Information Management System. We are looking for an experienced project
manager who has previous experience of providing project management support to
a multi- Trust pathology LIMS project.
The successful candidate will work as an integral part of
the LIMS project team to ensure smooth, efficient running of the project. You will provide project management support
as part of a regional central team, assist in the preparation of material for meetings,
type reports, SOPs, and other documentation as directed by the team members,
ensuring that reports are sent to the relevant stakeholders in a timely
manner. The post-holder will provide
information to other healthcare professionals on request. These activities involve frequent, daily
utilization of Microsoft Office programs, inclusing MS project and the Q-Pulse
quality management system.
The post holder is responsible for dealing with all
aspects of projet management for CDDFT stakeholders
Main duties of the job
Ensuring that up-to-date risk assessment reports, action and
issue logs and other project documentation are maintained and circulated in a
timely manner
Leading the project within local Trust from initiation to
closure, including, contractual agreements, detailed planning of deployments,
implementations, validation and operational handover.
Attending Project Team and workstream team Meetings on a
regular basis and completing all appropriate actions within the set timescales
and budget
Manage stakeholders, including ones outwith the Trust such
as GPs and other Trust pathology and IT services
Develop and maintain working relationships with
central project team, other Trust colleagues, CDDFT managers, laboraotry
workstream members and Trust stakeholders
