Job summary
We
are looking for an engaging and experienced Programme Director with an
excellent track record of leading transformational change across multiple
organisations to lead the implementation of a new single LIMS across
laboratories across 5 Trusts in North East and North Cumbria (NENC). The design
and implementation of a single LIMS is the top clinical priority and a key enabler of service change and
improvement. Its successful implementation will be vital for building a network
which has standardised ways of working, high levels of productivity and quality
and is sustainable and resilient
Main duties of the job
The Programme Director will support the 5 Trusts across NENC
organisations in the delivery of the Trusts strategic LIMS EPR Programme
activities and will manage the programme of activities on a day-to-day basis
throughout the Implementation Programme, on behalf of the Senior Leadership
Team (Via CIOs), including the refinement and delivery of programme benefits.
The Programme Director will also be responsible for the transition of the
Implementation Programme to business as usual.
In conjunction with key stakeholders, the
Programme Director will plan, manage and lead multiple, concurrent (and
related) projects and activities to deliver the key strategic priorities as
agreed by the organisations.

We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.
