opportunity has arisen for a Maternity Admin Assistant . Operating in a team the post holder will
provide an efficient and effective administrative service within the Midwifery department. It is essential that you have experience of
microsoft packages. A flexible, pro-active team player is
required. You will also have excellent
organisational and communication skills and be able to work under pressure and
to deadlines
Posts are available to support the below teams
Darlington and Newton Aycliffe Community Midwifery.
Derwentside
Chester - le - Street and Durham
South Durham and Bishop Auckland
Sout East Durham
Main duties of the job
Provides admin
support to both clinical and non-clinical staff
Liaises
with other departments
Maintains
records
Deals with queries from patients, visitors and staff

We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.

range of medical, nursing and allied health professional and admin staff within
the Trust and outside agencies, and patients and relatives over the telephone
externally, acting as a focal point of contact for all general enquiries
concerning the work of the clinical team.

support services within the Trust in a courteous and professional manner.

- Good standard of general education minimum of 3 GSCEs/equivalent at Grade C or above including English or equivalent knowledge/experience.
- NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration (or working towards)or equivalent knowledge/ experience
