An opportunity has arisen for a Senior receptionist to work
within County Durham & Darlington Minor Injuries/Urgent Treatment Care
Centre at Peterlee
As Senior Receptionist you will be part of a team and
responsible to line manage staff to provide an efficient reception and
administration service. You will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal
skills and the ability to communicate with staff and service users alike.
You will need a good knowledge of computer systems and
possess excellent organisational skills and be confident in completing both
individual and team tasks. Duties will include a wide range of admin tasks and some
reception work.
Due to the nature of the work you will need to demonstrate a
good understanding of confidentiality and a non-judgmental attitude is
essential.
Hours are Monday to Friday , however you will on
occasions be required to cover shortfalls and this could include weekends, days
and evenings. In addition you may be required to help cover in other UTCs
across the County.
Main duties of the job
As Senior Receptionist the post holder will be responsible
to line manage a small team of receptionists ensuring the smooth running of the
Urgent Care Reception on a daily basis.
You will be resposnible for admin/reception duties eg filing
/ e-mailing/scanning/completing monthly audits.
Responsible for the timely and accurate
management of reception rotas, holidays, managing absence, appraisals, etc.

We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.
