Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to work within
Clinical Specialist Services (CSS) core team. The post holder will work to support the implementation of
transformation projects throughout the care group, but specifically within the
Outpatient setting. They will work with
the senior staff to implement continuous service improvement ensuring quality,
consistency, communication and evaluation of the work undertaken. They will be required to support in the
collation, monitoring and presentation of data, will support service
improvement and will work with service managers from other care groups to adapt
and adopt the transformation project work. The post holder will also line
manage administration staff in standalone operational teams, for example the
Blood Line staff.
Main duties of the job
Supporting
the Outpatient Transformation Lead in the development, implementation and
delivery of improved services in Outpatients and other areas within the care
group, the post holder has responsibility in delivering the following key
result areas:
Staff
Line manage staff in
accordance with the standards set out by the Trust, specifically the Blood Line
staff and other administration staff in standalone operational teams
Manage leave, absence,
mileage and time/flexi sheets etc.
for staff directly
line managed.
Ensure admin staff
undertake mandatory training
Liaise with other Admin
Managers and Team Leaders to identify service requirements, gaps and surplus,
and assess feasibility of joint provision, as appropriate.
Improvement and Monitoring
Work with the wider services
and forums to review systems and processes, to identify improvement
opportunities and manages change processes
Apply solution focused
problem solving to address the challenges with systems and processes within the
care group
Carry out activity evaluation
in line with the project plan and learning from best practice
Collate and present verbal
and written reports as required
