Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator. We are looking for a motivated person who is passionate about working alongside our committed admin team working at Sedgefield Community Hospital.

Main duties of the job

You must have a flexible approach, be able to work as part of a team, and have highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, IT skills, as well as being able to prioritise a busy workload to meet all deadlines.

In order to apply you will need to have 3 GCSEs including English and have achieved a level 2 in Business Administration or have equivalent knowledge/experience.

To be eligible for Health and Care Worker visa sponsorship you will usually need to be paid at least £25,600 per year

We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.

NEAS. Some ad hoc planned travel may be required at times.

  • NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration (or working towards)or equivalent knowledge/ experience

Experience

  • Experience of an administrative role providing general provision of administrative duties in a challenging and constantly changing environment.
  • Experience of working within an NHS Environment
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining office filing systems
