Job summary
We are currently looking for motivated and enthusiastic
Registered Nurses to join our Community / District Nursing teams. The role
involves providing a high standard of holistic nursing care to patients in
their own homes or care setting. The shift pattern covers 8am until 9pm ( no
night duty). The teams are able to offer a range of shifts ( 7.5, 9.5 and
12hr).
We have various posts across the teams within County Durham
and Darlington at the moment, with full time and some part time positions
available.

Sedgefield (

Durham Dales ( Bishop)
Darlington (1 base covering Darlington Community Services )
Main duties of the job
The
role involves providing holistic nursing care to patients in their own homes or
care setting such as 24 hr residential care. A wide range of nursing skills are
required for the role, including but not limited to: venepunture, central line
care, wound care, medication administration and care for patients at end of
life. Training and support can be given to gain and further develop skills.

We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.
