Job summary
We are looking for a caring, motivated, and proactive Continence Support Worker to join our specialist continence service. This is a rewarding role supporting children and young people with bladder and bowel needs to maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Working as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you will provide person-centred continence care, support assessments, deliver advice, and promote best practice in toilet training and continence management across the service.

- Ability to work sensitively with people experiencing intimate care needs
- A team player with good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in health or social care is desirable but not essential
- Willingness to undertake relevant training and development
- A positive attitude towards promoting continence and challenging stigma
Main duties of the job
What You'll Do
- Complete continence assessments
- Carry out bladder scans and collection of urinalysis.
- Provide bladder and bowel health education to patients, carers, and families
- Assist with fitting continence products and equipment
- Deliver follow-up support, monitoring progress and escalating concerns appropriately
- Help promote continence awareness across community and clinical settings
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to individualised care plans
- Act as a compassionate advocate for patient dignity and privacy
