Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable nurse with relevant post registration experience. The post registration qualifications that are required are Mentorship, and a SACT qualification. As a cancer nurse you will have access to training and education as well as the support of a fantastic, dedicated team. This is a varied and exciting role with the opportunity for professional and personal development within the challenging and rewarding specialty of Oncology/Haematology.
We have 2 Chemotherapy Units at Preston and at Chorley Hospital. You will be required to work across both sites.
Must have current SACT experience.
We are currently recruiting fixed term to cover Maternity Leave until December 2026 and permanent roles.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for experienced nurses in the innovative field of Chemotherapy to become a Chemotherapy Sister/Charge Nurse providing excellent quality care for cancer patients during their Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatment.
We were shortlisted in the Nursing times Awards 2018 as Finalist in the Cancer Nursing Category. We are a strong team who regularly receive excellent patient feedback.
