Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiatic and caring individual to join our Imaging department as a Radiology Imaging Assistant. We need the best and most flexible people for this team and we make no apologies for that - it's crucial our patients continue to receive the best care possible and that it's delivered by the most effective people.
You will be responsible for providing a range of personalised care for patients and a range of clinical duties under the guidance and supervision of radiographers of all levels.
You will support the productive operation of the departmental environment by undertaking a range of non-clinical activities which contribute to the maintenance of a safe and clean environment.
Main duties of the job
You will possess excellent organisational and communication skills, ability to use your own initiative, work within a team and be able to work under pressure to ensure targets are achieved.
You will assist the continuity of workflow in the radiology department, and will be responsible for but not limited to:
- the movement of patients between the radiology department and other areas within the hospital, provide good quality personalised care in accordance with agreed local and national standards.
- Contribute to maintaining safe, clean and productive environments, compliant with standards for hygiene and cleanliness.
