Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic person to join our Clinical Night Team!
The Advanced Clinical Practitioner in the Clinical Night Team supports the on call teams at night working across all specialties and clinical areas independently seeing and treating patients with a variety of acute and chronic conditions.
You will arrange appropriate management and treatment plans for in patients, complete jobs handed over from the day teams and support admission areas with the assessment of patients with a variety of undifferentiated presentations whilst working within the trusts guidelines, policy and procedures. Attend and lead on cardiac arrest calls in the absence of senior medical staff. They will contribute to departmental audit, providing leadership and education to all levels of staff over night when appropriate.
Main duties of the job
You will be offering leadership and support to clinical areas out of hours at night.
Reviewing and supporting the deteriorating patient, attending cardiac arrest calls and supporting the medical on call teams with prescribing, patient reviews and clerking duties .

- oHighly motivated and experienced practitioner with substantive range of experience within relevant area eg emergency / general medicine
- oBroad & advanced knowledge of clinical pathophysiology
Desirable
- oExperience in managing chronic health issues
- oKnowledge of more than one area of clinical practice
Qualifications & Education
Essential
- oProfessional clinical qualification
- oCurrent professional Body registration
- oMSc in Advanced Nursing Practice, Clinical Practice or evidence of appropriate level 7 study in a relevant specialist clinical field.
- oIndependent/Supplementary Non-medical Prescribing (where legally able to).
- oEvidence of continuing professional development
- oAdvanced Life Support qualification
