Main duties of the job
The Postgraduate Training Administrator will work closely with the Postgraduate Medical Education team within the Student, Trainee and Placement Support Department. They will be responsible for coordinating areas of the Postgraduate Teaching Programmes within Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, as commissioned by NHS England. You will be required to co-ordinate the GP Specialty Training (GPST) and the Internal Medicine Training (IMT) Teaching Programmes, working closely with the appropriate Training Programme Directors and Postgraduate Coordinators.
You will be required to organise all resources needed to support the streamlined delivery of the training programmes which includes setting up online sessions, booking Tutors, equipment, rooms etc. as required.
As our Postgraduate Training Administrator you will be a vital part of the team and will be required to support events and provide administrative assistance to the team. This includes support with Junior Doctor Inductions and Assessments. You will work closely with members of the Student, Trainee and Placement Support Team, along with other departments within the Workforce and Education directorate.

* The post holder will be required to organise all resources needed to support the streamlined delivery of the Postgraduate training programmes which includes arranging online sessions, booking Tutors, equipment, rooms etc. as required. They will also provide support for the ordering of teaching materials and catering requests for the IMT Programmme.
* Coordinate weekly teaching programmes for the GP Specialty Trainees (GPST) and the Internal Medicine Trainees (IMT)
* Work closely with the relevant Programme Directors to agree content for programmes, booking speakers and arranging all necessary resources
*Collate all session feedback and ensure this is fed back to the appropriate Tutors
* Maintain accurate trainee attendance records, deal with trainee queries and update e-portfolios
* Provide support for junior doctor inductions and assessments
* Liase with trainees regarding their mandatory training requirements
* Coordinate the Sector IMT Teaching Programme
* Provide support at Student, Trainee and Placement Support Team events withadministrative assistance in preparation for the event, as well as attending for on the day support
* Manage own workload, deferring to Manager when deemed necessary

- Evidence of ongoing personal development.

- To be IT literate and have experience of setting up online meetings
- Ability to work within established procedures and timescales
