We work in partnership with our clients building a strong working relationship and putting our customers at the heart of what we do.As a result of our drive to grow and to deliver added value to our customers, we are advertising a role of Business Systems Team Leader to join our growing team and take the lead in managing the teams day to day operations with the objective of delivering a brilliant cost efficient service. You will have a level of accountability for ongoing support and development of both bespoke ELFS and 3rd party software to support both the ELFS teams and clients we provide services for.We are looking for an individual with team leading experience who is keen manage a diverse team and help lead the way on optimising our processes whilst ensuring we continue to provide a fantastic customer experience. Main duties of the job
Your main responsibility will include day to day management of the team, providing on-going support as well as ensuring that all operational staff are sufficiently trained to complete daily duties.
You will also form part of our key systems contacts who will provide support and assistance to our clients nationally whether it be over the phone, via email or even on Microsoft teams meetings.
A vast majority of the activity within the team is received and recorded within our CRM platform (hornbill service manager), part of your role will be to ensure that workloads within the CRM platform are managed, allocated and ultimately ensure that requests are completed in a professional and efficient manner.
As a Business Systems Team Leader, you will be expected to work closely with other Operational staff and management across varying divisions and departments within ELFS.
In addition, you will play a key role in areas relating to systems management and development. as an organisation, we are always looking to progress, your input in identifying improvements and efficiencies will be key. This will include liaising with system providers in regards to upgrades, potential system developments and business as usual issues.

Provision of the efficient and effective day to day operation of ELFS Business Systems Team
- Plan and organise the work of the Team
- Untertake critical reviews of application functionality and how it can be adopted to specific areas of the organisation ( ELFS or Client) to enhance user experience and efficiency.
- Responsible for the management of system access ensuring the integrity and security of the password master files.
- Monitor support requests raised by client organisations and ensure that these requests are resolved within the strict deadlines ensuring that detailed records and audit trails for any changes are up to date.
- Monitor the finance system performance for client organisations and escalating these within the Finance Systems team where appropriate
- Responsible for ensuring all interfaces are loaded into Client ledger systems as per Client SLAs
- Assist with the design and build of new client ERP systems
- Assist with the testing (UAT) of new services, applications, system upgrades and patches before deployment into live production environments.

Essential
- GCSE in Math's and English Grade C
- Hold or be studying towards qualification in Information technology Management at NVQ level five level or demonstrate knowledge and experience to an equivalent standard within Business Systems.
Knowldege and experience
Essential
- Demonstrate ability to effectively use spreadsheets, E Mail and Microsoft Office facilities.
Desirable
- Experience with finance ERP systems (efinacials or similar)
