Lancashire Community Care Home Hub, at Finney House in Preston, provides expert care in a luxurious home from home environment. We want you to be part of building a new team and creating an environment where patients be cared for.

We are looking for enthusiastic Registered General Nurses or Registered Mental Health Nurses, at to provide nursing care to residents at our Finney House site in Preston. You will be dynamic, full of passion for what you do and have strong people skills that will really embrace and enhance the challenges of nursing. We love making a difference and working together as a close family to gain the rewards of making a residents stay with us the best it can be.

Even our facilities are beautiful both inside and out. We offer plenty of parking too.

Main duties of the job

We know how enthusiastic you will be about patient care, and you will really harness and broaden your skills & knowledge, gaining experience within our specialised Lancashire Community Healthcare Hub in our residential care setting. If you've a passion for delivery of quality care, service improvement, placing residents at the heart of what we do - then this is the job for you!

If you have never considered working in a community setting, this is a unique opportunity to work in a bespoke residential unit, within a supportive environment with a multi professional team and supported by a structured leadership framework. You may have experience already in mental health care including and ideally in caring for residents with dementia. We are keen that our residents have stability and consistency in the care we offer, so building relationships with residents and carers, friends and family is key.

We offer various full and part time options, with a pattern of long days and nights working 12 hour shifts. There is also the opportunity for experienced RNs/RMNs to join us on our bank and have the flexibility to work when you are able.

Our annual leave entitlements start at 27 days (pro rata) plus bank holidays. We have free onsite parking at our Finney House site and great transport links, being located close to Deepdale and Preston North End.
