Job summary
An opportunity has arisen to recruit a senior practitioner in one of our integrated Manchester Community Mental Health Teams, South Manchester Later Life Community Mental Health Team based at Etrop Court, South Manchester .
The individual would be a motivated and enthusiastic and willing to work as a supportive team member. They will provide support to the team manager including supporting with performance management, supporting staff with all aspects of their practice, and standing in for the team manager in their absence.
You should also be passionate about later Life Services and the development of both staff and the service as well as genuinely want to make a difference in service users lives and the staff that provide the care.In return we will provide you with regular supervision and support with your clinical and personal development.

Main duties of the job
To support the team manager with the day-to-day operational management of the team. The team is integrated, flexible, user-focussed, and recovery-orientated to deliver a safe, effective, and high-quality service to service users with mental health needs, to ensure delivery of the relevant clinical pathways (MATS, Functional and Organic) as outlined within the OACMHT standard operational procedure.
Participation as a member of the Services Management Team in the overall management of community based secondary mental health services.
Participate in the service bronze on call rota as required.
