Job summary
The Specialist Perinatal Service is looking to recruit a Senior Practitioner for maternity leave cover. The successful candidate will join a passionate perinatal team providing expertise in the care of families during the perianal period.
Key responsibilities will include working alongside Team Leaders to support families with complex needs during the perinatal period. You will cascade your skills and knowledge to support case managers in their role, using supervision and role modelling. You will also develop professional relationships with our partner agencies
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills as these will be required to support the Specialist Perinatal Team in a manner of ways.
You will provide:
- Clinical leadership to the Specialist Perinatal Service
- Support and clinical supervision to team members
- Work with women and their families who have complex metal health needs during the perinatal period.
- Develop good professional relationships with our partner agencies to facilitate excellent quality care across Greater Manchester.
