Band 7 - Team Manager within the Integrated Mental Health Team at HMP Risley and Thorn Cross.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Integrated Mental Health Team at HMP Risley and Thorn Cross.
HMP Risley is a Category C prison, working pre-dominantly with sex offenders, whilst HMP Thorn Cross is a Category D prison working with mains prisoners. Both prisons have received positive outcomes from HMIP and CQC at the most recent inspections.
The well established mental health team works across both sites offering a variety of interventions including intensive mental health nurse case loading, trauma therapy, EMDR, CBT and psychological well-being 1:1 sessions and groups.
The team manager will be expected to be a role model for the team, promoting a positive work culture and psychological safety as well as strong assessable leadership.
