Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Administration Team at North View in a role of Ward Administrator on a full time basis (Monday - Friday, although their may be a requirement for you to work unsociable hours ie: weekends). Your duties will include supporting patients and their relatives on the Ward as well as providing a comprehensive administrative support to the multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, support workers and other professionals involved in patient care.
The post holder will provide an efficient and professional service ensuring quality service to all users, their families and professionals contacting the Ward. The post holder will also be required to cover other wards within Park House, to provide support during absence of other administrators.
Please note - This role is not eligible for sponsorship unless you meet criteria by temporary exemption from current changes to immigration rules put in force on 22/07/2025. Separate provisions are applied to workers who have been sponsored and held continuously Skilled Worker visa since prior to 04/04/2024.
Main duties of the job
To be an initial point of contact for the service and respond to all enquiries in a professional and sensitive manner, and, to provide a responsive, comprehensive clerical and administrative service to the multi-disciplinary team, in order to support them to provide an efficient and effective service for the benefit of the service user group and their families.
Perfect candidate will have a flexible approach in providing administration support to the multi-disciplinary teams working with a client group with mental health problems. There will be client and carer telephone contact and also, face-to-face contact on daily basis therefore, good communication skills are essential.
There may be a requirement to cover other wards across North View to ensure consistency across the service as well as working unsociable hours or weekends if requirement
