Job summary

An exciting opportunity to provide effective clinical/nursing leadership for the North Mersey CMHT based at Kingslea House, developing and maintaining a high quality of service delivery.

Provide leadership with nurse led physical health and complex medication management clinics and to review any cases which require more robust follow up to establish care plans and risk assessment. Providing support within the management team to ensure oversight and efficient running of the team within best practice.

  • oRelevant professional qualification: RMN/RGN
  • oEvidence of relevant education to at least degree level or evidence of appropriate professional development

Desirable

  • oEvidence of appropriate post qualifying training/NMP/Assistant Practitioner.
  • oTrained Nurse Mentor.

Experience

Essential

  • oAppropriate demonstrable experience of working in secondary care mental health services.
  • oExperience of chairing adult safeguarding investigations

Desirable

  • oLeadership/management qualification/appropriate training or relevant experience e.g. recruitment & selection etc.
  • oExperience of supervising others.

Knowledge

  • oKnowledge of best practice relevant to the work of a CMHT
