Incident Administrator

Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a conscientious team player to join the Incident Team. The successful candidate will support the day to day administration of the Trust incident reporting system and the coordination of investigations ensuring the data quality checking, approval, monitoring and preparation of documentation surrounding incidents are updated daily.

The post holder will need to have good attention to detail, time management skills and a good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Packages.

This post reflects the Trust's commitment to patient safety. The ideal candidate would possess excellent administration skills and be able to maintain a focused approach to their work, whilst working in a busy office environment.

Main duties of the job

The Incident Administrator will be responsible for the data quality checking, approval, monitoring of incidents and the preparation of investigation documentation surrounding incidents as required by the Trust.

They will also liaise closely with operational staff across the Trust in supporting the reporting and management of Incidents.

The Incident Administrator will be responsible for maintaining processes to ensure that GMMH respond to incidents and investigations in a timely manner across the GMMH footprint.

The postholder will have excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload in a fast-paced office environment.

Maintain discreetness and professionalism in the management of highly sensitive and emotive information relating to serious untoward Incidents effecting staff and service users.
