Due to our continued growth and development and recognising the diverse geographical footprint that we now cover; we have recently redesigned our leadership structures resulting in the formation of Care Groups. Our Care Groups will be led collaboratively by a team of senior clinical and operational leaders, working in partnership with other system partners who are empowered to lead the delivery of quality services within a specific locality or grouping of specialist services.
The Trust is currently under the Single Oversight Framework (SOF) 4, and is therefore implementing an ambitious improvement plan, at pace, with support from NHS England and NHS Greater Manchester. Supported by a forward-thinking Board of Directors, and underpinned by a robust accountability framework, this new structure and formation will ensure we can achieve our vision to improve lives, reduce health inequalities, and ensure GM leads the way in the provision of mental health and addiction services for all ages.
Main duties of the job
The Deputy Chief Medical Officer roles are pivotal within the new structures and will function as a team to support the portfolio of the Chief Medical Officer. They will also mirror the embedded triumvirate leadership structures working collaboratively with the Deputy Chief Nurses and the Deputy Chief Operating Officer. The Deputy Chief Medical Officer roles are significant leadership roles and will lead to maintain Professional Standards and deliver and develop quality and effective care to those who use our services
