An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a B4 Senior Administrator within Achieve Salford at our King Street site working along side the Clinical Team(s). The post holder will be supporting prescribers with the smooth running of multiple clinics, ensuring all needs are met and assisting across the wider footprint as required.

The post holder should be able to demonstrate their administrative experience and have an understanding and knowledge of the issues affecting substance users and potential barriers to accessing services.

The post holder will have a sound knowledge of the skills required for the day to day running of administrative tasks in hand both clinical and data, demonstrate excellent communication skills with professionals, service users, their families and significant others by using motivational approaches to inspire others to achieve their goals and assist in attaining and maintaining their recovery.

Main duties of the job

As a B4 Senior Administrator you will oversee the running of the King St office, responding to all enquiries in a professional and sensitive manner.

You will add to providing a responsive, comprehensive clerical and administrative service to the multi-disciplinary team, to support them at a senior administrative level providing an efficient and effective service for the benefit of the service user group and their families.

Part of this role as a B4 Senior Administrator will involve oversight of the daily general office duties supervising B2/B3 Administrators and supporting/liaising with the B5 Administration Manager when required.

Essential

  • Recognised competency-based level 3 qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent demonstrable experience
  • Database/Spreadsheet/PowerPoint Qualification/experience

Desirable

  • NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent demonstrable experience

Knowledge and Experience

Essential

  • The ability to prioritise and plan conflicting and complex work demands
  • Evidence of providing supervision for staff and completing appraisals
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining office systems

Desirable

  • Patient/service user admin background
  • Knowledge around handling clinic documents such as medication sheets and prescriptions
