Job summary

We are excited to welcome applicants for a secondment with our Manchester Living Well team.

Living Well is a new service, co-designed by people with lived experience and key partners, designed to bridge the gap between existing primary and secondary care services. Working in partnership with GMMH and VCSE organisations it will offer a service which is trauma informed, holistic, person led and community based.We are committed to doing things differently and trying new things.

Main duties of the job

This advert is for an enthusiastic and motivated Mental Health Practitioner (MH Nurse, MH Social Worker, OT - other professional qualifications considered) who would like to try a new way of working and is dedicated to caring for service users with Manchester.

We take flexible working seriously and are keen to discuss this with any applicant.

We are especially keen to welcome applicants with lived experience to this post.

Manchester Living Well initially began as a prototype (one in each locality of Manchester.) The service constantly evolves and adapts, so you need to be prepared to try new things, evaluate and learn as you go along.
