We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Pharmacy technician to lead and support a small technical team in daily Medicines Management operations and at ward level. The post holder will be based at our new Northview inpatient unit and will support the Deputy Chief Pharmacy technician in ensuring the effective delivery of quality pharmacy services.

This post offers the opportunity to contribute to high standard patient care in mental health services, working in the hospital environment, and enhancing skillset.

The post is full time, with no evenings or weekends.

Main duties of the job

To provide quality, effective pharmacy services to improve patient care including technical and clinical services.

To promote further development of the pharmacy technician's role within the Trust and undertake supervisory duties.
