Job summary
To work in the Administration Team performing a range of administration duties including monitoring the Accounts Payable email inbox, printing off all relevant documentation, process credit card payment requests, monitor the Finance enquiries email box, answer finance department telephone enquiries, open post and distribute accordingly. To provide cover within the AP & AR teams when required.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and numerate individual to work as an Administration Assistant within the Admin Team based in the Finance Department.
As a member of the team, you will be responsible for completing a range of administration duties including monitoring the Accounts Payable email inbox, printing off all relevant documentation, process credit card payment requests, monitor the Finance enquiries email box, answer finance department telephone enquiries, open post and distribute accordingly. To provide cover within the AP & AR teams when required.
Main duties of the job
Administration Duties
To monitor the Accounts Payable email inbox and print off all relevant documentation.
To open post received into the finance department and distribute accordingly.
To maintain a supply of stationery for the finance department and place orders on the NHS Supply Chain system to replenish agreed stock levels.
To monitor the Finance Enquiries email inbox and direct enquiries to the relevant finance team.
To process credit card payment requests using the Trust credit card.
To answer finance department telephone enquiries and transfer to the relevant team.
To co-ordinate and file the finance department teams timesheets.
To 'Meet and greet' visitors to the finance department by responding to the 'intercom' system in a courteous, friendly, and helpful manner.
