Apprenticeship and Early Careers lead

Job summary

We are looking to recruit an experienced organisational development professional to lead the Trusts Apprenticeship provision, ensuring high-quality professional development for all staff engaged on Apprenticeship Programmes.

The role will have responsibility for early careers (work experience) and employability programmes.

Please note the vacancy has been extended to the 19/03/24

The role is currently under financial review has the potential to be a 37.5 hour post. (Subject to funding)

Main duties of the job

To monitor, manage and influence the design and delivery of new and existing apprenticeship and vocational programmes to meet the needs of the organisation to enable individual learning and professional development. To advise and support managers across the Trust regarding vocational qualifications.

To manage relationships and partnerships with external training providers, ensuring quality and standardisation policies and procedures are adhered to, and to take responsibility for maximising the Trusts Apprenticeship Levy, ensuring that this is managed in accordance with government guidelines.

To lead and manage the Trusts' early careers strategy, including the provision of pre-employment/work experience programmes across the organisation. To lead and manage the Trusts' HCSW induction and pastoral support team.
