Job summary
The Team Administrator will be responsible for the management of the Referrals and to ensure all appointments are booked.
The Team Administrator will have an overview of the patient pathways, with responsibility for ensuring referrals, reviews and appointments are processed and conducted within the required timeframes.
The post holder is responsible for the provision of a booking appointment service for Outpatients using a computerised Patient Administration System (PAS), electronic scanning equipment and emails. This will involve formal liaison with Service users and clinicians to ensure that patients are seen within appropriate timeframes.
The post holder will ensure an efficient administrative service for the team including minute taking, and other general administrative duties as part of the administration rota.
Main duties of the job
The Team Administrator will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and confidential administrative support to the clinical team and team manager.
The post holder will provide an administrative function to the multi-disciplinary team, minute taking of meetings, typing of clinical correspondence, filing and other general administrative duties, attending and minuting ward rounds.
In order to meet the needs of the Trust services, you may be required from time to time to work outside of your normal area of work. The Trust reserves the right to change your normal area of work to any other location within the Trust.
