Job summary
An exciting time to join Community Health and Justice as we continue to strive to meet the needs of the service users within the borough based teams. We have an fantastic team that has an opening for a BAND 5 mental health Practitioner. A role that will be supported by our Team Managers, and Senior Practitioners.
The service is always improving to provide services for vulnerable people implementing a trauma informed approach to care.
As a mental health Practitioner, the post holder will provide high standards of evidence based client care.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team within the team. The post holder will be expected to be proactively engaging service users to promote positive relationships.
The post holder will be required to work 37.5 hours a week which is 9-5 Monday to Friday.
Working within the team alongside, practitioners will be expected to,
- 1. To hold a caseload of assessments, treatment upon a conceptual framework and employing research-based evidence.
- 2. To provide direct therapeutic interventions in line with the grading of the post, including assessments, formulation and therapeutic input into children, young people and families referred into the service.
- 3. Undertake risk assessments and care plans accordingly
