Job summary

An exciting opportunity is available at Bolton CAMHS for 2x band 5 Children and Young Persons Wellbeing Practitioners (CYWP) to join our friendly and hardworking team. This position has become available due to promotions within the organization. The role involves working in our therapy provision within CAMHS.

Our service is dedicated to continuous improvement, and we have recently implemented changes that have positively impacted the care we provide to CYPs.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team within Bolton CAMHS. The post holder will be expected to be proactively engaging our young people and their families in order to promote positive relationships.

As a CAMHS Practitioner, the post holder will provide high standards of evidence based client centred care to children and young people with mental health [CYPMH] problems within the THRIVE Framework for service delivery working within the team alongside our talented therapists, caring case managers and super support workers.

The post holder will be expected to provide Assessment, Formulation, Interventions, Advice, and Risk Management.

The post holder will be able to discuss all cases in Clinical supervision and they will have skills sessions.

CYPS will either be discharged of be offered further intervention within the wider CAMHS team if needed.

The post holder will demonstrate an attitude which respects and values service users' and their carers.

The post holder will embrace the core values of the organisation and adopt the principles of Recovery and THRIVE. These principles will recognise the need to.
