The postholder will work within the WAB Care Group and alongside the Head of Operations will deliver high quality, clinically directed services.
The service manager works collaboratively across operational and corporate services in order to deliver high quality outcomes
Main duties of the job
Be responsible for leading and managing inpatient/urgent care services within Wigan.
Work collaboratively across all inpatient/urgent care areas to support the management of patient flow
Be responsible for leading on identified work areas and projects across the Trust as determined by the Care Group Leads and Head of Operations
Attend and positively contribute to the business and strategy meetings of the Trust as determined by Head of Operations.
Work with the WAB Care Group Leads and Head of Operations across the Division to ensure that services are developed in line with population needs, service demand and agreed national and local
Participate in silver on call, and on site,
Provide support across the WAB Care Group for inpatient teams in the absence of senior management
