Job summary
Golborne Unit (LLAMS) are looking for motivated and compassionate Band 5 Staff nurses who are; passionate about nursing, have an understanding of/or willingness to learn about positive behavioural support, are committed to delivering person centred care and want to support later life adults in their recovery.
We require dynamic individuals who have an interest and positive attitude to working within an in patient setting. The post holder should be prepared to pro-actively contribute to a ward environment, as part of a friendly and professional comprehensive multi-disciplinary team.
Golborne Unit is one of five wards at Atherleigh Park Hospital. A 21 bedded mixed sex later life unit providing support to later life adults in a time of crisis.

Main duties of the job
We require a dynamic individual who has an interest and positive attitude to working within an in patient setting. The post holder should be prepared to pro-actively contribute to a ward environment, as part of a comprehensive multi-disciplinary team.
The post holder will assist in the overall delivery of care to patients on the Ward. Working with later life adults in an inpatient mental health setting.
We support our service users when at their most vulnerable; providing holistic care throughout their admission.
They will be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care. The post holder will at all times comply with the NMC Code of Conduct, relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
The post holder will be required to work a shift pattern, including nights and weekend work.
