Job summary
The Trust is seeking a Consultant in general adult inpatient psychiatry to join the inpatient team based at the Meadowbrook Unit, Salford Royal Hospital. This vacancy is an existing post which has arisen after the previous post holder moved to another post.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for providing clinical care to the 18 inpatients and medical leadership to the Keats ward team, as well as supporting and contributing to the management and development of the ward functioning. The post holder will work with the Home-Based Treatment Team and Care Coordinators from the three Community Mental Health Teams in Salford, to facilitate discharge, and provide an alternative to inpatient admission.
