Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated registered mental health nurse (RMN) to join our existing team as a clinical team manager for our newly established community mental health service in Wigan called Living Well (LW).
The Wigan Borough Living Well Service enables timely access to mental health services when people need it most and provides support for people who might not traditionally meet the threshold or criteria of existing mental health services. The team is multidisciplinary and includes VCFSE organizations and several peer mentor roles.

Main duties of the job
In this role you will assist with the day-to-day management and leadership of this exciting new team. In addition you will provide both clinical and line management supervision to team members and deputise for/support the operational programme manager with other aspects of service development and delivery.
Clinical time will include direct contact with people accessing the service. You will undertake initial conversation/assessments and interventions with people as part of the LW duty system in accordance with agreed operational procedures. You will also support people accessing the service who require the support of an RMN.
You will be expected to participate in the Wigan Division Bronze on Call rota which includes overnight/weekend working.
