Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Ramsgate House Community Mental Health Teams in Salford. We are looking to recruit a Registered Nurse Associate to work within the Team, to undertaking depot and blood clinics, home depots and bloods, Physical Health Care assessments and monitoring, alongside other service user and carer interventions.
Ramsgate House is a fast paced, dynamic, supportive , well performing team within the Salford directorate of GMMH covering a wide geographical area and varying service user and carer needs.
The successful applicant will have some experience of working with service users with mental health issues.The post holder will be able to hold clinics and work as part of a busy multi-disciplinary team supporting service users address their physical and mental health needs and carry a caseload of service users with diagnosis of severe and enduring mental ill health.
Main duties of the job
- Health Promotion
- Physical Health Improvement Tool
- Clozapine, Mood stabiliser and Depot clinics
- Undertake Venepuncture as directed by Senior Nurse Practitioner as required
- Undertake ECG as directed by Senior Nurse Practitioner/Medic as required.
- Supporting annual flu vaccination clinics
- Standard Care depots
