Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Clinical Supervisor/Clinical Tutor for Children & Young People's IAPT - High Intensity CBT programme.The Training Centre was established in 2000 to run a Postgraduate Diploma programme in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy in partnership with the University of Manchester. We have since expanded our portfolio to the delivery of more than 14 distinct programmes/pathways in evidence based psychological therapies across a broad range of therapeutic modalities, mostly at postgraduate level.

We have been highly successful in attracting funding from Health Education England as part of national projects aimed at Improving Access to Psychological Therapies across Adult and Children & Young Peoples' services, and now employ over 80 staff, most of them also in current clinical practice, and train in excess of 400 students per year.

Main duties of the job

Main postholder duties are involvement in delivering all aspects of the PG Diploma in Evidenced-based Psychotherapies for CYP - High Intensity CBT. This will include highly specialist clinical supervision, teaching and student assessment (in line with the national CYP IAPT curriculum). Suitable candidates will have a qualification in one of the main mental health, health or social care professions (or equivalent experience as recognised by BABCP KSA route), with a minimum of six years' post qualification experience in child and adolescent mental health relevant settings. They will also have post-Graduate level training in CBT/ CT (PG Diploma in CBT or equivalent).

Education

Essential
