Job summary
- The delivery of grounds and gardens maintenance and supporting maintenance activities across the Trust's estate.
- Forward looking and proactive in providing gardening skills throughout the Trust's estate including maintenance of all types of grassed areas, shrub beds including weeding and pruning, removal of litter and debris, sweeping of hard surfaces, application of herbicides, reinstatement of grassed areas, snow clearing and salting of paths, steps and ramps.
Providing support in the day to day provision of a maintenance service ensuring that it fulfils its function effectively economically and efficiently within legislation and guidance standards. The ability to use and maintain relevant hand tools and machinery appropriate to grounds and gardens maintenance.
